The Frequency We Emit

Every person vibrates at their own unique frequency, like the hum of an idling car. Our thoughts, emotions and actions send out a signal into the world. The tone we emit searches for complementary frequencies to ours while simultaneously repelling others. We can take action for our highest good when we acknowledge what kind of energy we are sending and receiving.

Whether we are experiencing joy, sorrow, anger, love or any other emotion, we find others to share in that sentiment. It’s like setting a welcome sign out for anyone feeling similarly. This same energy can also have a repelling effect. This doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong. The vibrations just don’t match. Then there are those times when we engage, out of curiosity, with energies that are beyond our norm. Sometimes this divergence won’t suit our nature and other times it will influence us. All of these situations shape and mold our vibrational frequency.

Through action or inaction, we are sending signals out into the world while drawing similar energy back to us. We can change what isn’t working by looking deeper into what has shaped our own thinking and why we hold onto it. When we shine a light on our subconscious behavior, we create opportunity for conscious choices. From this awareness, we can shift our vibration to attract what we wish.

Action:
Take a look at what are the dominant emotions you are feeling in your life. Are your behaviors motivated by things that are cheerful, angry, sad, monotonous, greedy, loving? Identify how you are fueling your current state of mind. What has happened or is happening in your life to be drawn to these consistent behaviors? When looking under the surface, you may find the origin pointing to a past scenario that has shaped how you view your current situation. Ask yourself this question: Is this who I want to be and what I want to attract? Whether we are comfortable currently or wish to change some things, self-knowledge on a deep level allows us to refine who we are and attract what we desire.
