Upon discovering something that works for our own health and happiness, we may urge others to see it our way. Since we’ve found advantages in the approach, it makes perfect sense to share our tried and true knowledge. However, we may find that our revelation is not always met with the same enthusiasm. It’s in these moments that we are reminded that everyone has their own unique belief system. Even though something is valuable for one, that doesn’t mean it has worth to another. Each of us blossoms in our own way.
We all have an opportunity to genuinely and authentically live. When we confidently do what’s right for ourselves without pushing our views, we will naturally encourage each other to grow. Instead of feeling pressured, we can be free to choose which beliefs and practices are best for ourselves.
We live in times of a continuous and intense download of information. There are countless versions and opinions of how to go about living our lives. Let’s inspire each other by being an example of what happens when we practice instead of preach.
Action:
Ask yourself if there is something you have found that brings great benefit for your health and spirit. Is this something you hide from others? Is it something you urgently share with anyone who will listen? How would it feel if you decided to fully live your truth without regard to how it appears to others? One way to do this is to practice integrating your choices into your everyday life. When we unapologetically show the world the way we choose to live, we ultimately free our insecurities. It is then that we confidently move forward in a way that best nourishes us.
